Ik zie dat ik sowieso nog niet eens op 10 hip-hop albums uit 2010 hebt gestemd (ik verzaak dit jaar, blijkbaar), maar ik vind het toch wel erg dat ik Dark Time Sunshine (Vessel) en B.Dolan (Fallen House, Sunken City) nog nergens voorbij heb zien komen. Zeker degelijke albums.

Het nieuwe album van Junk Science is ook goed.

Dark Time Sunshine vond ik ook erg vet! B. Dolan iets minder. Ook Epsilon Project is erg goed. Heb ik even toegevoegd.

Ik kom uit op 4 hip-hop albums.

Ja maar in die allereerste lijst wordt hiphop wel heel rekkelijk genomen: Eli Paperboy Reed, Leela James, John Legend, Jack Parrow (een paar voorbeelden van wat ik ken) bijv. geen hiphop that I know of.

Then again Flying Lotus en Gonjasufi - kijk eens op de site hier - stondne er weer niet bij

Ja klopt, Aloe Blacc stond bijvoorbeeld ook in zijn lijst.

Jack Parow kan je trouwens best hip-hop noemen hoor. Hij rapt over beats, lijkt mij hip-hop.

Jack Parow valt inderdaad gewoon onder hiphop en dat John Legend album is met The Roots. Die anderen ken ik niet.

Terwijl jullie allemaal al bijgewerkt zijn, en bijna alle hiphop albums van voor 2010 hebben beluisterd, moet ik nog die van 2010 ennn honderden daarvoor beluisteren. Maar heb dit jaar ongeveer 70 uur aan muziek gedownload .

Heb je dat ook allemaal al beluisterd?

Ik luister de laatste tijd ook bijna alleen maar hiphop. Niks mis mee toch? Ik sta wel open voor andere genres maar er is zoveel hiphop die ik nog wil checken dat ik er vaak niet aan toe kom.

Ik luister toevallig wel naar Dropkick Murphys en Flogging Molly maar dat is Folk-punk. De bewering van pqt dat bij andere genres de teksten er niet echt toe doen is een beetje vreemd.

Big up als dit weer een standaard discussie wordt tussen Rock en Hip-Hop
