Ja, Herman, 10 'verschillende' landen graag . Moet ik eens uitzoeken. De Scandinavische landen beginnen wat mij betreft toch een grote vooruitgang te boeken. Dit vooral in de hardrock maar ook steeds meer in de electronic. Briljante releasen van Bangkok Impact, The Knife, Gosub, Biosphere en ik kan hier nog wel een boekje schrijven (maar dat ga ik helaas niet doen). Wat me toch telkens opvalt is de relatie van muziek met de natuur. Altijd heeft het wel iets met het koude of frisse klimaat te maken of met bossen, wat je maar wil. De artiesten van The Knife hadden zich geloof ik ook helemaal afgezonderd in een hutje bij de bossen om hun plaat 'Silent Shout' te maken.
Blijkt nog maar eens dat muziek sterk afhankelijk is van de omgeving waar de artiest is opgegroeid, de tijd en allerlei factoren.
