Als we het dan toch over boeken hebben: lees ook eens Doem DaDa van Bill Mensema. Speelt zich af begin jaren '80 in de stad Groningen, ten dele ook rondom Vera, het jongerencentrum waar toen bands als U2 en The Sound optraden in hun prille periode. Uiterst humoristisch en zeer herkenbaar.

Nanne Tepper ken ik wel, Bill Mensema niet. Vera ken ik heel goed. En Hoogezand? Dagelijks naar gefietst op weg naar AJS.
