Nu ik bezig ben met het maken van mijn lijst wordt het me (weer) even duidelijk hoe enorm weinig soulmuziek er in de keuzelijst te vinden is. Geen Curtis Mayfield, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers of Gil Scott-Heron en maar één Otis Redding en Marvin Gaye. Das echt niet veel .

En dan vergeet je nog Aretha Franklin. Zij haalde net de top 50 niet in de 60s.

Ook weinig funk en reggae, weinig zwart - MuMe: 50 shades of grey?

Gelukkig hebben we wel Isaac Hayes en Prince. En natuurlijk Michael Jackson.

Achteraf is het mooi wonen. Ik zeg altijd dat het iedereen vrijstaat om gelijkgestemden aan te sporen een lijstje in te leveren.

Overigens zie ik geen lijstje van de heer M. Juman bij de 60s en die van dezelfde heer bij de 70s was even wit als het gemiddelde lijstje.En vanuit de 50s: Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Howlin' Wolf, Nina Simone, Ray Charles etc. Drie maal raden waar die staan in de tussenstand.

chevy93 - je kan wel reddelijk overweg met een spreidscheet, maar verder excelleer je niet in telwerk: het aantal zwartmensen in mijn 70s lijst overtrof het gemiddelde ruimschoots en wat is er mis mee om 'ns een keer over te slaan (50s, 6os of misschien wel deze lijst)? Vind deze overblik-lijst zeker een kwestie van appels en peren - en denekeer doet het me nix en danderekeer denk ik er anders over - net als met wat ik draai. I.t.t. wat zommigen denken isthier niet 1 en al 80s, wave postpunk e.d. Regelmatig draai ik echte muziek: klassiek en jazz

Het zijn er een stuk of zes à zeven en de helft daarvan haalde 'gewoon' de top 50. En verder hebben ook veel blanke artiesten uit jouw lijst behoorlijk goed gescoord, dus ik zou zeggen dat je nu ageert tegen iets waar je zelf debet aan bent.

Er is overigens niets mis mee om niet mee te doen, maar dan vervalt je recht om te klagen.
