M'n moet erbij rekenen dat in Amerika New Wave totaal anders is dan UK of (West- ) Europa.
En wat volgens sommige New Wave is is het volgens andere niet.. Post Punk, Cold Wave, Synth Pop en wat heb je nog... zelfs redelijk wat Punk Rock van 80's kon New Wave "klinken".
Een goed voorbeeld is Blondie - Denise. Voor onze regio's is dit geen New Wave maar in Amerika wel gekend als New Wave. Amerikaanse New Wave verzamel albums staan vol met die Punk Rock en Pop Rock nummers. Bij ons was het vooral meer Synthesizer gericht met koud en diep klinkende vocalen.

Dat terzijde vind ik dit een zeer sterke verzameling voor als je bvb nog geen verzamel albums hebt van dit genre. Alles bij elkaar in een compacte box.
