Ik had twee maand geleden een kaartje voor haar laatste concert in de AB in Brussel, maar heb wegens ziekte moeten passen. Ik was wel érg ziek toen, want om haar aan het werk te zien zou ik normaal gezien hemel en aarde bewegen..
Op het laatste concert dat ik meegemaakt heb van haar, heb ik op de eerste rij staan roepen naar haar : "Siouxsie, I love you!!!!!". Ze had het gehoord en knipoogde even naar mij. Heb ik toen vlinders in mijn buik gehad!! Ze zou mijn moeder kunnen zijn, maar toch

op 18 mei 2009 komt er een live DVD uit dat in London was opgenomen tijdens haar laatste Mantaray solo tour gig - uiteraad werden ook Siouxsie & The Banshees classics ook live gespeeld...
Siouxsie's FINALE : The last Mantaray and More show DVD is released May 18th 2009. The DVD includes almost the entire show recorded at KOKO last year and an interview as a bonus feature.

en op 1 juni (a.s. maandag dus) komt uit in GB een 3 CD en 1 DVD (4 disc) package met alle BBC sessions en een DVD met alle optredens van Siouxsie & The Banshees!! 84 tracks in totaal, met alle live optredens tussen 1977 en 2001 ...

All tracks hand picked by the band and featuring Siouxsie's introduction to the liner notes. Discs 1 and 2 feature key session tracks from 1977 – 1987 and a concert recording from the Apollo Theatre in Oxford in 1985. Includes the complete John Peel sessions and features 21 unreleased versions. Disc 3 contains highlights from their BBC concert recordings at the Apollo Theatre in Oxford and the Royal Albert Hall in London in 1988, where the band performed a storming set 3 nights in a row to a sold out crowd. Highlights include a breathtaking Last Beat of My Heart, Christine, and a rip roaring crowd pleasing end of show version of Hong Kong Garden. Disc 4 is the real gem; a 29 track DVD of the band's BBC TV performances. Features the complete Old Grey Whistle Test broadcasts from 1978, 1982 and 1985, the Something Else performances from 1979 and 1980, the Rock Goes to College broadcast from 1981 and the band's complete Top of the Pops performances. This is a fantastic visual documentary of the band, starting with the OGWT performance of tracks from their debut album in 1978; Metal Postcard and Jigsaw Feeling, through the dark years of Juju, performed for the Rock Goes to College show and culminating with the beautifully pure pop bliss of Kiss Them For Me from Superstition. The set also includes a fantastic 30 page booklet with extensive sleeve notes by Paul Morley, which features interviews with all the band members and a unique and insightful introduction written by Siouxsie.
