Idd, Sabbaths debut en Sad Wings Of Destiny verdienen ook een
plaatsje! Zo ook british steel

Er zijn natuurlijk een hoop minder bekende, maar schitterende albums, maar laat ik eerst maar even met de echte klassiekers beginnen.

Slayer - Reign in Blood. Wat Sgt. Pepper's voor de popmuziek was is Reign in Blood voor metal!

Death - Scream Bloody Gore en Human. Elke Death plaat is geniaal, maar dit zijn de twee meest invloedrijke.

Possessed - Seven Churches. Death Metal blauwdruk (heeft de tand des tijds daarnaast beter doorstaan dan de debuutalbums van Necrophagia, Slaughter en Master/Death Strike).

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath en Paranoid

Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
