AGE-411: het is een geweldig nummer ja, en gaat zeker over verlies, maar funfact bij dit nummer: het gaat over James' lievelings gitaar die hij is kwijtgeraakt (gestolen ofzo, dat weet ik niet precies).
Spijtig, en zeker niet minder ontroerend, maar geeft het nummer toch een klein beetje andere lading imo,

James is zijn gitaar kwijt geraakt op de Europese tour in 1983 (of was het nu 1984?). Gestolen.
Metallica waren toen nog arme dutskes die in krakerspanden sliepen op rotte matrassen, vanzelfsprekend hadden ze dus geen geld voor een nieuwe gitaar te kopen.
Daarom leende James een gitaar van de personen met wie ze tourden (Anthrax en zulke zooi).

Ter vergelijking: In Some kind of monster DVD zegt de technieker tijdens de audities voor een nieuwe bassist tegen Rob Trujillo dat ze zo'n 300 gitaren hebben, overal verspreid (in al hun villa's en studio's).
