Gek genoeg Herman Brood & His Wild Romance, de strakste optredens die er maar verzorgd werden in het clubcircuit. Ik was er altijd, in een wijde regio. Ook Fatal Flowers, Claw Boys Claw maar ook Harry Muskee zeer regelmatig gezien.
Slayer minstens 10x. In de allereerste begindagen vooral, maar ook recent nog in Atak, Enschede.
Iron Maiden, Metallica, Venom, Motorhead vele malen gezien en thankgod ook Dio en Black Sabbath en Ozzy Osbourne. Rainbow en Deep Purle helaas niet.
Frank Zappa (Ahoy) en James Brown (North Sea Jazz) waren ook memorabel.
Ben trouwens van plan weer wat vaker naar concerten te gaan.

Ben jij gedwongen/bedreigd of ben jij uit vrije wil en volledig handelingsbekwaam naar die Guus Meeuwis-optredens gegaan? En heb jij steeds die hele optredens uitgezeten?

Onder bepaalde condities ben ik best bereid om naar dit soort optredens tegaan;
1. ik ben niet de bob
2. in combinatie met een wk / ek wedstrijd van het Nederlands Elftal
En het zijn best leuke evenementen hoor, ben geen groot fan van Guus Meeuwis, maar het sfeertje en het hooge meeblair gehalte en met een paar alcoholische versnaperingen is het best te doen, ovirigens wel altijd veld kaarten wat zittend lijkt het mij een stuk minder leuk.

Ooit heb eens gezegd over Groots met een zachte G
"Gisteren Guus Meeuwis gezien in het Phillips Stadion in Eindhoven.
Onder het motto van Groots Met Een Zachte G krijgt hij het dit jaar weer voor elkaar om 4 x het Phillips Stadion uit te verkopen, waarmij de teller op 25 uitverkochte stadion concerten komt in 6 jaar tijd en ik snap wel waarom.
Groots is het zeker een behoorlijk indrukwekend podium met een catwalk rond de "Gouden cirkel" en nog een extra catwalk die tot halfverwege het veld komt. Zeer goede geluids- en lichtinstalatie en loepzuivere beeldschermen.

Het is niet helemaal mijn muziek, maar het sfeertje dat er met dat soort optredens in een stadion hangt maakt veel goed (ook zo bij de Toppers, maar veld kaarten daarvoor zijn mij net iets te duur geworden).

Het is voor mij dan gewoon een kwestie van verstand op nul, biertje er bij en een feestje bouwen.
De nummers van Guus zing je met allegemak mee en aangezien ze er bij de kaart verkoop rekening mee houden dat de mensen op het veld een beetje de "ruimte" willen hebben sta je op het veld ook niet op elkaar maar heb je voldoende bewegings vrijheid voor polonaises en andere gekkigheid.

Al zijn grote hits kwamen voorbij en het was gewoonweg 1 groot feest. Halfverwege het concert was er dan ook nog een verrassings optreden van Doe Maar die een paar van hun grootste hits speelden.

Al met al een zeer gezellige middag / avond gehad en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. 4*"

Thelion, of er nog hoop voor jou is weet ik niet. Guusje als gezellige, niet al te hinderlijke, achtergrond bij een WK-voetbalgebeuren, a la. Maar mensen die vooraan staan bij een optreden en gillen en adoreren, daar zit een behoorlijk steekje aan los.

Het feit dat dit fenomeen 25 stadions vol krijgt baart mij zorgen. Maar goed, het is zoals het is.

Nee voor mij is alle hoop al lang geleden opgegeven, wat mij betreft kan de apocalypse lost barsten........
