Eerder Chinese . Neen, heeft iets te maken met evolutie, verworven status en moment-opname. Sommige platen ken ik al wat langer en alhoewel ik ze waardeer geraak ik niet verder dan 3.5* (Editors in dit geval) terwijl een nieuwkomer wel direct aanslaat maar nog niet volwaardig in de lijst hoort (Vic). Sommige scores wil ik nog na het maken van de lijst aanpassen. Klopt langs geen kanten, mijn uitleg

Klopt. De release in de VS was in oktober 2006, maar de cd was toen hier alleen als import te koop. Het album stond in de VS en Canada in 2006 al in verschillende jaarlijstjes. Voldoende aanleiding voor PIAS om het album in The Low Countries (pas) in (de tweede helft van) januari 2007 uit te brengen. Reden waarom ik het album dit jaar in mijn lijstje opnam.

Hetzelfde geldt overigens voor 'The Crane Wife' van The Decemberists ook een album uit 2006 dat Konkurrent in Nederland pas in januari 2007 uitbracht.

Zoals ik het begrijp hebben de lijstjes die je hier post volgende zin: 1) je kunt zelf bijhouden hoe je favorieten van dit jaar evolueren 2) je kunt platen die erg hoog bij andere gebruikers scoren ontdekken. Zin genoeg voor mij

En het is sowieso interessant om te lezen wat de favorieten wat andere users op deze site zijn. Zo blijf je je (ik in ieder geval) ook niet suf staren op je eigen "voorkeuren".

Met in achterhoofd ook nog Dizzee Rascal, Good Bad Queen, White Stripes, Sticks Delic, Stephan Bodzin, Pete Philly, Justice, The Field, Klaxons en Dominik Eulberg is dit gewoon een prachtig jaar!

Wat is überhaupt de zin van deze site kun je zeggen: het staat vol met lijstjes e.d.
Maar ik neem aan dat er aan het einde van het jaar weer lijstjes ingevuld kunnen worden en die worden dan opgeteld waardoor we onze eigen mume-top over 2007 krijgen.
Deze lijstjes zijn dan ook handig om er nog eens bij te pakken en bij te schaven.
Voor mezelf vind ik ze zeer handig, omdat ik nu b.v. bepaalde albums nogal heen en weer zie gaan in mijn top 10, terwijl andere juist honkvast blijven. Ik kijk zeer graag in de lijstjes van andere users, omdat je daar dan een naam kunt zien staan die je over het hoofd hebt gezien en misschien de moeite waard is te beluisteren.
Bovendien zie je heel snel met welke users je een beetje op dezelfde golflengte zit.
Vroeger deed ik dat al met de individuele OOr-lijstjes: zag je heel snel welke radiomaker of journalist dezelfde smaak had en dan pikte ik er een titel uit die ik niet kende. Bleken soms mooie ontdekkingen die ik totaal gemist had dat jaar.
Hoezo niet nuttig deze lijstjes?
