Zo. En nou is het klaar! Als het hele Nederlandse journaille weer mag, mag ik ook! Een fijne lijst (ja duh, het is mijn lijst) maar naar mijn indruk een minder muziekjaar dan 2007, althans ik heb minder dikke krenten uit de pap weten te halen. De eerste hiphopplaat op nummer 40 is om te huilen en ook het gebrek aan metaal is gezien mijn liefde voor kolereherrie een niet goed te praten omissie. Bij al deze misere (nou goh) aangetekend moet ik wel zeggen dat de strijd om de eerste plaats zelden zo spannend is geweest, nog erger dan Bush en Gore in 2000. Uiteindelijk gaat Portishead er met het goud vandoor maar de zilveren en bronzen plak mogen dit jaar eveneens in bladgoud. Ook gelijk DE 3 acts van het jaar, want op livegebied was ik ook al van hen het meest onder de indruk. Laatste kanttekening: gezien mijn onbegrensde liefde voor het electronische genre is ook hier weer veel werk (haha werk) te verrichten volgend jaar. Maar goed, de beste platen van 2008 ontdek ik waarschijnlijk pas in de herfst van 2009, of later. Want zo'n lijst blijft een bijna dagelijks veranderende momentopname.

Dacht ik ook, en waarom geeft Oor nu al zijn eindejaarslijstje, er kunnen in december nog meesterwerken uitkomen.
Overigens zijn nrs. 2, 6 en 7 de eerste 3 van mijn (uiteraard voorlopige) lijst van 2008, de rest moet ik nog geheel beluisteren.

En volgend jaar ga je eindelijk de stap naar iets buiten de gebaande paden proberen?
Deze lijst is zo gemiddeld dodelijk saai dat het niet gezond meer is.

Yep en MGMT ook maar bij OOR nemen ze het blijkbaar niet zo nauw met jaartallen........

Gebaande paden? Gemiddeld? Dodelijk saai?
Ik zie anders David Holmes, Neil Halstead, Department Of Eagles, Yeasayer, The Walkmen, Scarlett Johansson, Beach House en Why? in schrikbarend weinig lijstjes opduiken hoor.
En zelfs als dat wel het geval was; ik vind dit gewoon de beste platen van het jaar. Als je je platen uitkiest op basis van obscuriteit, ben je echt kinderachtig bezig.
