Is er eigenlijk überhaupt een Paisley Park artiest
die ook maar tot de hielen van deze geile dwerg reikt?

Niet echt natuurlijk, al was Sheila E in de jaren tachtig ook tamelijk populair. Maar het zou me verbazen als er aan het einde van deze dag ook maar één andere artiest genoemd wordt in deze poll.

Purple Rain verscheen in '84 nog op Warner Brothers, en daarna besloot onze paarse hoogheid dat het tijd werd voor een eigen label, wat hij tot 1993 heeft volgehouden, aldus Wiki.

Damn! Ik bedenk me nu dat ook Sign o' the Times dus een Paisley Park album is. Mijn CD'tje is van Warner, maar de singles die ik heb, staan wel degelijk op Paisley, dus zal de oorspronkelijke dubbel-LP er ook wel op uitgebracht zijn. Eigenlijk zou dat album mijn stem moeten krijgen...

Jeetje Deric, wat doe je ons aan... Leuke lijst, maar met een heleboel platen die ik wel behoorlijk vind, maar die het nét niet helemaal zijn. Heb getwijfeld tussen uiteenlopende namen als Procol Harum, Gary Brooker, Michael Schenker, Ultravox, Billy Idol, Trevor Rabin en UFO. Uiteindelijk maar voor de laatste gekozen.

NB. Volgens MuMe is deze op EMI uitgebracht, maar dat geldt voor de CD. De oorspronkelijke dubbel-LP staat wel degelijk op Chrysalis.
