Haast niet te doen, dit. Als ik er dan toch eentje moet kiezen uit de tientallen meesterwerken, moet het deze maar worden. Maar het had even goed een album van Emmylou Harris, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Ry Cooder of Rickie Lee Jones kunnen zijn.

Om toch nog even te muggenziften: bij mijn weten is Rumours nooit op Reprise uitgebracht, in tegenstelling tot voorgaande albums van de band. Dit was hun eerste album voor Warner Brothers.

Helemaal eens met Gaucho; geen enkel probleem om 1 per decennium, per subgenre te kiezen. Sterker nog: alleen in 60's zie ik al zo een handvol albums (Electric Prunes, Westcoast Pop Art Experimental Band - Child's Guide ) die ik graag op vinyl zou willen hebben. Daarom gekozen voor deze 'Blue' hoort zeker genoemd te worden en Neil zal nog wel een paar keer vallen.
