The Verve zie ik nog wel eens voorbijkomen, niet echt op hoge plaatsen maar goed. Geweldig album wat mij betreft.

Geen plaats voor Radiohead. Ik vond het in de jaren negentig mooi. Nu doet het mij bijna niets meer. De jaren negentig moet het van mij hebben van de Britpop, Shoegaze, Electronic/Dance en Folk.
De echte pure rockmuziek is bij mij duidelijk op zijn retour. Kort gezegd; ik houd er niet meer zo van.

ik weet het niet, OK Computer blijft toch goed. draai 'm praktisch nooit. het is toch pubersentiment van het minst genante soort.

Toch nog 1 correctie, want hij moet er gewoon in, als is 't maar op 19... Ten koste van Wilco, maar die komen hoog in mijn "00 lijstje, geen zorgen...

Als New York nou net iets beter had gescoord in de '80's zou Lou in aanmerking gekomen zijn voor 4 decennia op rij. In de 60's met VU, in de 70's met Berlin en in de 90's met Songs for Drella. Of telt dat niet omdat ie toen in een band zat? En Songs for Drella haalt het toch zeker? Chevy?

Morgen weet je het antwoord. Ik kan wel vertellen dat het heel dicht bij elkaar ligt onderin.

Lastiger dan de 80's, het ligt allemaal zeer dicht bij elkaar.
Toch maar Badu's live-plaat bovenaan gezet. Mijn eerste van haar en waarschijnlijk een van mijn meest gespeelde platen ooit! Elke keer weer genot!
Daarachter nog vrij recent 5*-materiaal: Mos en The Roots eindelijk na al die jaren en Moon in Scorpio van The Family Stand, veruit de beste ontdekking dit jaar. Ik speel de afgelopen maanden niks anders meer! Misschien dat ik ooit nog eens tijd vind voor OK Computer...

De jaren '90 is op het gebied van hip-hop briljant te noemen (vooral de eerste 5 jaren van dit decennium), al zal dat aan vele users hier voorbij zijn gegaan. Qua popmuziek vond ik de jaren '90 juist zwaar matig. Met veel pijn in het hart heb ik meer dan 20 albums uit mijn lijst moeten schrappen. Het in volgorde zetten van mijn 20 toppers was nog meer onmogelijk. Er staan een enkele "persoonlijke favorieten" in, maar vooral algemeen zwaar gewaardeerde albums. Zie hier het resultaat:

Volgens mij was dit de 100ste.

Omdat mijn werk van morgenochtend naar morgenmiddag is verplaatst, ga ik de uitslag pas morgenavond doen. Therefore, de deadline is ook verplaatst naar morgenavond.

Hoe laat precies, chevy?

4 uur ben ik klaar. Dus ik verwacht om 6 uur gewoon te kunnen starten. Voorheen was het altijd op donderdagavond (de deadline was toen 18.00), dus dat lijkt me een prima tijd.
