Ik had eigenlijk nog genoeg te luisteren uit de zero's zoals Gnaw Their Tongues, Dirty 3 en nog wel meer, maar misschien pas ik het later nog aan. Hier dus mijn lijstje tot nu toe.

Oeps, geen rekening mee gehouden. Stond er nog één van 2010 in. Dat betekent plek voor twee anderen.
Het is nu aangepast.

Even een vraag. Eind 2009 kon je je lijstje van het decennium invullen op MuMe. Daar werd vervolgens een top 100 van de jaren '00 van samengesteld. Maar er was toen ook een topic over, waarin veel mensen (en dus ook ik) hun individuele lijstjes postten. Ik kan alleen het betreffende topic niet meer vinden. Weet iemand waar die staat?

En dit was het eindresultaat. Ik vroeg me gisteravond precies hetzelfde af.

Leuke graadmeter inderdaad. Alleen deden daar zo te zien een stuk meer mensen mee (al weten we natuurlijk niet hoeveel mensen er hier aan mee gaan doen).

Third van Portishead gaat flink scoren als ik het zo zie.

Natuurlijk een stuk minder. Die eindejaarslijstjes worden vaak ingevuld. Die wordt dan immers ook beter onder de aandacht gebracht (staat tussen het menu en op de homepage). Zo'n topic als deze wordt een stuk minder bekeken.

Ik verwacht overigens ook niet dat die lijst het gaat worden.

De jaren '00 is het decennium dat rock definitief en absoluut helemaal dood is verklaard door mij. Eén enkele rockplaat haalt de 4,5*. Dus verder alleen maar electronic in mijn top20, waarvan de helft 5* en de andere helft 4,5* platen zijn. Wel een vet decennium overigens! Beter dan de 90s.

Daar is helaas niks aan te doen.

Dus het lijstje van Niels telt niet mee?

Jawel, alleen dat album haal ik er tussenuit. Dan maar geen nummer 7. Ditzelfde heb ik in de 90s bij korenbloem gedaan die te laat was met het alsnog noemen van de nummer 17.

EDit: En tevens ook in de 60s bij iemand die Bitches Brew in zijn lijstje had.

De 00's zijn toch mijn favoriete decennium, het decennium waarin ik serieus met muziek bezig ging. Vandaar ook dat het een hele beproeving was om een top 20 samen te stellen, met alvast excuses voor Modest Mouse, Venetian Snares, Interpol, The Field, Porcupine Tree, Gridlock, Sigur Rós en al die andere geweldige albums die het net niet haalden...

Die (Arctic Monkeys debuut) en Funeral had ik hoog verwacht.
Funeral blijft mijn favoriet voor de 1e plaatst daarna Radiohead (die doen het met 2 albums).
