Dus dan leg ik even uit waarom ik niet mee doe en dat is omdat het met niet zo aanspreekt te moeten kiezen uit een lijst.

Klassiekers of niet, het gaat hier om de 50 beste klassiekers van een decennium. Met Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Nick Drake, Fleetwood Mac, Joy Division, Bruce Springsteen en ga zo nog maar even door.. Dat er dan klassiekers missen lijkt me logisch. Zo mis ik albums van Wire, Deep Purple, Allman Brothers Band, Alan Parsons Project. Waar is Desire van Bob Dylan? Close to the Edge? Thick as a Brick? Off the Wall?
Om maar even wat 70s-klappers te noemen.

Het zijn er 2. Wat voor Prince volgens mij prima is.

In jouw geval.. 8 van de 10 albums uit je top 10 staan in de lijst. Een groot deel van je 5,0*-stemmen staat in de lijst. Als iemands favorieten er niet in staan, kan ik er in meegaan, maar in jouw geval zou je een hele top 50 kunnen vullen alleen al met 5,0*-stemmen, geloof ik.

Nou, gezien het feit dat jouw 4,5* & 5,0* stemmen vol met Wire, Magazine, Sonic Youth, Can en vooral meer alternatieve gitaarrock (vooral gericht op new wave/postpunk) staat, ben ik toch iets meer geneigd naar dat laatste.

Ik snap de kritiek, maar volgens mij redeneert men ook verkeerd om. Het is niet zoeken naar jouw favorieten tussen de lijst, maar in de lijst kijken naar jouw favorieten. Het blijft nog altijd vrij, uiteraard.

Van mij is hier wel een lijstje te vinden. Een van de eerste zelfs.

Wat is dat nou? Ik mag toch mijn mening geven? Ik vind het jammer dat ik niet mijn eigen lijst kan invullen, en ik zou niet weten waarom ik dat niet gewoon hier kan plaatsen.

Jij hoeft het natuurlijk niet met me eens te zijn. En dat mag je natuurlijk ook melden. Leve de vrijheid van meningsuiting.

De allereerste zelfs. Vandaar dat ik 'm waarschijnlijk over het hoofd had gezien.

Zelfde geldt voor nelis, die juist weer het allerlaatste lijstje was.

Ik heb het deze week erg druk, maar zal kijken of ik met deze insteek nog eens naar de lijst kan kijken. Tuurlijk staan er ook wél vele favorieten tussen.

Nou, nou, nou... die knipoog stond er niet voor niets hoor. Het gaat maar om een lijstje. Ik denk dat sommigen dit iets te serieus nemen allemaal.

Overigens was het meer een algemene opmerking naar degenen die er (jammer genoeg) geen trek in hebben deze keer dus niet alleen naar jou toe. En iedereen moet het uiteraard zelf weten alleen maakte ik er dan een niet al te serieuze opmerking over dat je de tijd ook had kunnen gebruiken om toch een lijstje te maken. Hoe meer zielen hoe meer vreugd. Dat was alles

Speciale aankondiging!

Het was nog even wachten op toestemming, maar bij deze kan ik bevestigingen dat deze eindlijst zondag a.s. (21 augustus) tot leven zal komen op de radio.

Evenals de MuMe Ladder vorig jaar zal deze albumlijst uitgezonden worden op Orinoco Radio.
Voor deze radio zend ik regelmatig uit en via Orinoco heb ik ook een 90s- en 00s-editie gemaakt. Wellicht herinnert men zich dat nog wel.
