De impact die de platen op de muziekgeschiedenis maakten waren gigantisch en daarmee werd een hele nieuwe stroming in muziek en cultuur ingezet. Hun beste platen zijn het niet maar wel grondleggend. Debuut Stones en Beatles.

Het debuut van the Beatles was inderdaad baanbrekend in die tijd, maar nadien hebben ze vooral betere albums uitgebracht. Ook het debuut van the Stones dat een jaar nadien verscheen was opmerkelijk maar in mijn ogen waren de debuten van bv. the Doors, Jimi Hendrix en Velvet Underground dat nog meer.
