Ik zie nu al dat de uiteindelijke lijst voornamelijk uit nummers gaat bestaan die mij niet kunnen bekoren. Maar ik vond het wél bijzonder leuk om te doen en zo eens tussen de (Hollandse) one-hit wonders uit de '90s te neuzen. Dat telt.

En je hebt ook nog eens het beste nummer op #1 gezet, dat telt dan toch ook wel.

Man man, niet te doen dit....morgen ziet dit lijstje er weer anders uit (16 vd 20 staan er wel vast in maar de volgorde is een onmogelijke opgave)

Al vind ik Stardust niet echt een eendagsvlieg.

De helft die hier meedoet is niet echt een eendagsvlieg: Underworld, Portishead, Blur, Smashing Pumpkins, Nick Cave, Alice In Chains, noem ze maar op. Echter, allen maar één top 40-hit gehad.

wat dat betreft is de engelse term 'one hit wonder' ook duidelijker of toepasselijker

Het gaat om artiesten die maar 1 top 40 hit hebben gehad. Katrina & The Waves hebben in de jaren '80 geen hit gescoord in Nederland, ook al is dat ene nummer van ze uit die tijd wel heel bekend.

Ja maar die gozers van Stardust hebben wel in een ander bootje hits gescoord, net als Albarn trouwens. Maar goed, waar maken we ons druk om ?

Walking On Sunshine is het bekende nummer, maar hier geen hit geweest.

Sunstreet stond nog wel 6 weken in de tipparade:

Bijzonder, ik dacht toch zeker te weten dat Walking on Sunshine niet en Sun Street wel de top 40 had gehaald. Hm...

Wat mij vooral is opgevallen, is het immense verschil tussen BE en NL wat one hit wonders en hitparade betreft. Dat verrast mij toch wat.

Even de tussenstand opgemaakt.: Opvallend
- bijna de hele top 20 is wel een keer door iemand op 1 gezet, alleen 3 platen stevig in de top 10 niet...
- de nummer 1 heeft een gaatje geslagen, maar dat kan na 3 berichten weer helemaal anders zijn
- de nummer 60 is als enige helemaal nog niet genoemd.
- de overgebleven nummers uit de startlijst bungelen zoals verwacht onderaan, maar er zijn een aantal uitzonderingen. De best scorende staat niet ver van de top 10.

Plezant karwei wel om hier een top 20 uit te destilleren. Mooi decennium, de jaren '90, veel goede herinneringen en weinig slechte! =)
