Volgende week presenteer ik in Eetcafe Oceaan in Amsterdam een denk ik unieke quiz waar ik tientallen uren aan besteed heb om het te maken. De Tijdloze bestaat sinds 1987 en wordt, behalve in 1989, sindsdien jaarlijks uitgezonden. In die 36 edities zijn er 7 verschillende nummers 1 geweest. Kunnen jullie ze uit het hoofd opsommen?

Ik volg die lijst niet echt, maar heeft Pearl Jam - Black niet op 1 gestaan?

In 2013 was Mia weggezakt naar de 22e plaats, maar na het plotse overlijden van Luc De Vos op 29 november 2014 (bijna exact tien jaar geleden) sprong het lied opnieuw naar nummer 1. De stemming was nochtans al gesloten voor zijn dood, maar uit eerbetoon en op massale vraag van de luisteraars werd Mia weer op 1 gezet. In 2023 stond ie nog altijd op nummer 7 en het zou me niks verbazen als de belpopclassic dit jaar weer stijgt naar de top 3, want Studio Brussel organiseert het een en ander rond de herdenking.

Ik denk ook Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit?

In 2021 en 2022 was The Chain van Fleetwood Mac random de nummer 1, weet ik.

Smells Like Teen Spirit was inderdaad tijdenlang de top dog. Ik denk in de eerste jaren afgewisseld met Child In Time, die nu nogal is weggezakt.

Ik denk dat ik de andere nummer 1's ook wel weet, maar ik wil geen nieuwe vraag verzinnen
