Kunnen we dubbele A-kanten niet uit elkaar trekken? 1 vs. 2 nummers voelt een beetje raar voor mij.

Maar hier sowieso:

Ja, het was een dubbele A-kant in de charts, een single waarop beide kanten even belangrijk waren. Maar het zijn dus twee nummers. Voor een KO is het logischer om de nummers los van elkaar te trekken, vind ik. Je bron klopt overigens prima, dat was mijn kritiek niet.

Nee, want ze hebben samen deze positie behaald. Apart was ze dat wellicht niet gelukt, dus zou raar zijn ze uit elkaar te trekken. Nog afgezien van dat dat lastig gaat, omdat ze samen op een single stonden.

Eh, hoezo is dat lastig? Naar mijn idee strijden in een KO liedjes tegen elkaar. Ik zou dubbele A-kanten gewoon als twee losse deelnemers mee laten doen. Ik snap je punt hoor, valt ook wat voor te zeggen. Maar dan kan je ook B-kantjes mee laten doen want destijds draaide het om de verkoop van fysieke singletjes, daarop was de Top 40 gebaseerd, en dat was dus altijd een A- en een B-kant. Die B-kant kan altijd bij hebben gedragen aan het succes, en een A- en een B-kant hebben altijd samen de positie behaald. Dus voor mij gaat die argumentatie een beetje spaak. Bij A-kanten is het effect wel sterker natuurlijk. Anyway, ik vind het gewoon lastig om 2 vs. 1-battles te hebben.

Ik snap je punt Arrie, zal kijken of ik voor de volgende KO iets kan regelen.
