Van alle 27 KO's (26 letters + de cijfer-KO) heb ik de 8 acht kwartfinales genomen. Die 216 songs zijn verdeeld in 24 ladders van 9. In de 1e ronde zit er nooit meer dan één dezelfde letter in een ladder. Jullie stemmen op de ladders zoals in de Song van het Jaar-topics: door je top 4 in een bericht te posten.

De stemsleutel is steeds 4-3-2-1. De top 4 stoot telkens door naar de volgende ronde.

De ladders staan steeds 24u: van 12u 's middags tot 12u 's middags. Vanaf het middaguur mag je dus de volgende ladder plaatsen (zolang dat niet gebeurd is, kan er nog gestemd worden). Ik bereken dan asap de uitslag.

24 ladders van 9 songs. Er komen geen twee dezelfde letters tegen elkaar uit. Om de drie ladders (=27 songs) begint een nieuwe reeks van A-Z.
