Ik ben geen Prince-groupie, hooguit een kritisch liefhebber en dan vooral van zijn werk t/m eind jaren 80, maar laat uitgerekend mijn twee favoriete nummers van hem in deze ladder staan.
Gelukkig waren er maar twee échte concurrenten voor de andere twee plekken en die schaal ik zelfs hoger in. Self Control en Smalltown Boy vind ik naarmate de jaren verstrijken alleen maar mooier en indringender worden.
Drie van de vier overige tracks zijn ook niet te versmaden. Dat laatste gedrocht is echter een enorme miskleun en slaat als kut op dirk. Of als een tang op een varken. Of als een lul op een drumstel. Of...
