4 nummers die 4 punten verdienen, aan de ene kant jammer maar aan de andere kant is het ook mooi dat je aan iets als dit spelletje mag meedoen.

Het gitaar spel van Piotr bij Riverside is bij vooral dit nummer om in te lijsten, echt weer een voorbeeld van iets dat in het Progmuseum hoort. De sfeer zit hier zo goed in elkaar.

Toen ik een paar jaar geleden Steve Hackett zag in Tilburg speelde hij alleen het tweede deel van dit nummer en dat was ook zeker niet erg maar als je het instrumentale stuk vanaf het intro (wat vaker terug komt) zo weer hoort dan poe héé, dit hoort ook gewoon in het Progmuseum, misschien draaien bij binnenkomst? En het outro, dat dan maar bij de uitgang?

Ayreon valt me reuze mee zeg, blijkbaar kan onze Arjan ook niet kont knijpende muziek maken.

Time Flies gaat inderdaad snel voorbij, voelt nooit als 12 minuten. Misschien moet ik dit maar eens in mijn 500 favoriete nummers gaan gooien.

IQ kan mij op zich altijd wel bekoren maar dit nummer wordt echt compleet verknald door de zang. Ik vind dit zo slecht dat ik het bijna zielig vind voor Peter. Hoe kan je het ontzettend prachtige stuk rond de 3 tot en met 5 minuten (het hoogtepunt voor mij dat ook zo een paar minuten had door mogen gaan) zo kapot maken?

Katatonia is ook prima.

Vooraf dacht ik dat Mystery de smet op de pret zou zijn maar ook hier valt het allemaal wel mee.

Travel kan het mooiste uit Nederland komende nummer allertijden zijn als je het aan mij vraagt en de outro maakt dat idee nog veeeeeeeel sterker.

Afgelopen vrijdag nog in Tilburg de uitvoering van Hackett gehoord en gezien. Mooi nummer waar de stilte vanuit het publiek opgebouwd wordt naar een climax. Hackett wordt zichtbaar ouder maar nog vol liefde voor zijn gitaar.

Tsja, ik ben geboren in 1967, het jaar van Sergeant Pepper, wat wil je nog meer als er een nummer voor jou persoonlijk geschreven wordt ! Bijzondere is dat ik gisteren tijdens een dag vol sollicitanten besefte dat ik de de gehele dag de oudste aanwezige was in het geheel. Time Flies en ergens wordt dat steeds lekkerder. Een andere weg inslaan.

Maar goed, ik ga eens stoppen met typen, Anneke komt net naar beneden en we gaan een beschuitje eten..
