Welkom bij de tweede editie van de Zestigplusladder. Vorig jaar kozen we met zijn allen Nina Simone – Sinnerman, Sam Cooke – A Change Is Gonna Come en Bob Dylan – Like a Rolling Stone als de beste drie nummers die uitgebracht zijn in 1965 of eerder. In deze editie komen de nummers uit 1966 erbij. Zal dat voor veel veranderingen zorgen of krijgen we een vergelijkbare finale?
Los van een nieuw jaar aan muziek, zijn er nog wat wijzigingen deze editie. Zo spelen we dit jaar met 270 nummers in plaats van 210. Er is een startlijst van 60 nummers. In de eerste ronde gaat bij een gelijk aantal punten het oudste nummer door (zover ik kan vinden). In de latere rondes gaat bij een gelijk aantal punten het nummer door dat de ronde ervoor het hoogste percentage heeft gehaald. De softe deadline is nog steeds om 20:00 uur elke dag.
Het schema van de rondes is als volgt:
Ronde 1: 45*6 -> 45*4 (180)
Ronde 2; : 30*6 -> 30*4 (120)
Ronde 3:: 20*6 -> 20*3 (60)
Ronde 4: 10*6 -> 10*4 (40)
Ronde 5: 5*8 -> top 3 finale, 4 en 5 naar herkansingsladder, daarvan nog 5 naar de finale

Nee, de hit en omdat ze bij de Oor nog denken dat punk 50 jaar oud is. Ik houd het bij 63 jaar (of zelfs 68 jaar als we starten met Rumble van Link Wray). En waarschijnlijk het eerste plaatje met een harde F*CK (als de drummer zijn stok verliest tijdens de opname, in dit filmpje op 00:59). De FBI was iets te gefocust op wat de zanger allemaal uitkraamt. Voor mij blijft dit de ultieme versie. Richard Berry kreeg nog wel 300 dollar aan royalties.
