Voor degenen die niet weten wat dit inhoud: -core KO is een KO voor alle bands die vallen binnen een genre dat eindigt op -core, uitgezonderd van alle elektronische varianten (denk aan breakcore, speedcore, hardcore, darkcore, etc.) Ook grindcore laat ik buiten beschouwing. Wat er dus wel ondervalt is hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, post-hardcore, emocore en mathcore. Dit is wat ik nu heb. Dit lijkt me een KO voor de scoreliefhebbers

Ik wilde een grap over slowcore maken, maar de jouwe is veel beter.

Leuk leuk, nou ook nog wat nuttigs?

Het hoe en waarom van uitzonderen van bepaalde genres ontgaat me een beetje. Waarom geen grind?

Ik mis overigens het gehele old school/youth crew gebeuren, dus Youth of Today en alles wat er aan vasthangt moet er zondermeer nog in.

Overigens zie ik graag Orchid nog in het lijstje, en aangezien al die popi troep als Soasin en UnderOATH vertegenworodigd is mogen er nog wel wat screamo (screamocore?) klassiekers bij.

Wel een idee om wat screamo erin te gooien ja. Ik zal het lijstje even aanpassen. Grind heb ik er niet instaan omdat ik er gewoon geen reet vanaf weet. Als iemand me kan helpen zal ik er misschien wat bij zetten. Ook in die oldskool/youth crew ben ik niet echt thuis.

Ook jammer dat soms precies de leukere bandjes tegen elkaar moeten (Envy en These Arms Are Snakes; Converge en Throwdown; Thursday en ATDI (ja, ik vind Thursday leuk); Suis La Lune en Youth of Today) terwijl elders de grootste troep het tegen elkaar op moet nemen. Maar goed, dat heb je met lotingen, natuurlijk.
