Ik ben toch wel benieuwd wat men van het album van Opeth vond want er is geen stem te vinden.

Opeth in het algemeen vind ik dermate oninteressant dat de kans dat ik het een hoge waardering geef vrij nihil is. Die hele esthetiek staat me onder andere al niet aan. Beetje onnodig om het album te luisteren om dat bevestigd te krijgen. Als er dan een album dat ik erg mooi vind tegenover staat, stem ik daar wel op.

Vind het ook nooit zo'n punt als je niet beide albums zodanig kent dat je precies weet welke beter is, aangezien bij veel KO's er dan zelfs soms geen enkele stem geplaatst kan worden.

Toch wel jammer, want ik vind dat bij Opeth mijn waardering aardig uiteen ligt. Bij een band als Jamiroquai weet je wat je krijgt, maar dat gaat hier niet echt op. Als echt niemand een album kent dat eruit gestemd wordt, is het wel een erge pyrrus overwinning.

Aan de ene kant wel, maar aan de andere kant kun je dan nooit stemmen zodra een favoriet album van je tegen iets vreselijks moet (wat in dit geval een wat overdreven term is), aangezien je het niet in je hoofd haalt een heel album meerdere malen te gaan luisteren van dat vreselijks.

Als ik een album luister dat echt dramatisch is, zet ik het af en ga ik niet verder luisteren om het te kunnen beoordelen. Mijn lage cijfers zijn bv. ook alleen albums die ik ofwel niet uit mezelf opgezet heb ofwel in de loop der tijd veel slechter ben gaan vinden.
