The Equals met de piepjonge Eddy Grant vallen erbuiten.

Verbijsterend weinig stemmen voor the Beatles .
Ik vind Hey Jude dus een wereldnummer en dacht dat 'ie met gemak de volgende ronde zou halen.
Het is toch niet zo dat iedereen denkt dat the Beatles het wel gaan redden en dat zij zodoende veel te weinig stemmen krijgen.....


En dan wil ik toch ook nog even een lans breken voor Tommy James & The Shandells. Ik vind Mony Mony echt een wereldnummer, maar ben blijkbaar de enige....

Al in de eerste ronde was duidelijk dat Hey Jude
niet als een standout Beatles nummer wordt gezien
door de meeste deelnemers. Zie eerdere posts.

Ik vind het ook geen standout Beatles nummer,
maar toch nog altijd sterk genoeg om te onthouden.

Er bestaan zelfs deelnemers die helemaal niks met The Beatles hebben

Ik vind Hey Jude ook een wat vervelend 'kinderliedje' en dat houd je toch; de ene vindt iets prachtig, de ander niks.

Hey Jude vind ik een wereldnummer, komt zeker in mijn top-10 voor. Mony Mony van Tommy James & the Shondells vind ik ook een sterk nummer maar ik kan slechts 10 nummers kiezen.

Tsja, zie vorige pagina voor mijn mening over Hey Jude... Maar troost je, Hey Jude gaat het, helaas, wel halen...

2de ronde: nomineer 10 blijvers uit de lijst van 30 overblijvers.

3de ronde: stel je top 10 samen uit de finalelijst van 20 overblijvers.

Het komt er dus op aan van te hopen dat jouw 10 favorieten
de twee eerste selectierondes overleven ... makkelijk en spannend.


De startlijste met 40 grootste hits wordt samengesteld
op basis van de 30 best gelijste songs van dat jaar in de hitparades
van de volgende landen: Nederland, Vlaanderen, UK en US.
