Ik vind het niet erg

Omdat ik me er oprecht over verbaas dat Parklife er niet instaat, niet zozeer omdat ik het zo'n geweldig album vind (vind ik ook wel hoor ). Wel gelijk een erg moeilijke keuze tegen Mingus. Toch maar:

Dat album van Mingus vind ik niet te doen.

Lijkt me inderdaad niet echt iets voor jou, ik vind het een erg goed album. Merk wel dat je op een andere 'manier' naar jazz moet luisteren dan naar bijvoorbeeld rock, mede doordat er vaak gebrek is aan structuur.

Het is niet zo dat ik jazz slecht vind, maar het vrije karakter van (dit album) van Mingus vind ik niet zo denderend. Heb hem ook nooit uitgezeten.

Ooit heb ik wel, ik meen, Charles Mingus - Changes Two (1974) beluisterd. Die beviel me al een stuk beter.
