Kwam er nog iemand na ons?

Het is niet te hopen. Vanavond kunnen we als het goed is de nummers nomineren in het grote topic van El Ninjo en Onweerwolf.

Nou, heren en dames (waren die hier wel?), het was me een genoegen.
Mooi initiatief van chevy93 om via deze manier alvast wat nummers onder de aandacht te brengen en zelf een beetje een idee te krijgen hoe bepaalde nummers het eventueel in de grote ladder gaan doen.

Volgend jaar omstreeks deze tijd maar weer?

Zoals ik al eerder in een 'note to self', zei: Volgend jaar eerder beginnen, zodat er meer mensen de kans krijgen en men langer de tijd krijgt (48 uur per persoon bijvoorbeeld).

Volgend jaar kun je bij wijze van spreken half november al beginnen. De 24 uur vind ik wel een mooie limiet eigenlijk.

Maar dan heb je nog steeds dat probleem dat Outlaw104 had. Er zijn dagen dat er geen hond luistert. Bovendien weet ik niet hoeveel animo er volgend jaar is, maar we hebben nu in een week een boel ladders afgewerkt. Een rustiger tempo mag van mij ook wel, want je hebt nu geen dag rust.

Ja er was maar kort tijd, ik heb de helft van de ladders niet kunnen luisteren.

Bij Mos Def & Roots Manuva is het tegen beter weten in. Die laatste zou toch eindelijk eens moeten doorstoten; derde keer en scheepsrecht ofzoiets?

Effe informeren of al duidelijk is geworden of deze manier van 'nominaties-zoeken' een bevredigend resultaat heeft gehad....

Doen de uiteindelijk-geselecteerde-nummers het goed dankzij deze methode?

Eindstand: The Last Resort werd genomineerd door Kees-Jan en mijn vervanger was een nummer van Supertramp. Beide nummers haalden het niet. Thriller opmerkelijk genoeg ook niet.
Sinking haalde het niet in de voorronde.

American Wheeze werd genomineerd door iemand anders en haalde het. When the Levee Breaks eindigde 3e in de ladder. Vincent heeft het zojuist ook gehaald.

Kortom, op Thriller na, was dit een redelijke voorspelling. En dat wordt alleen maar beter indien er meer mensen zullen stemmen.

Ze doen het bij mij onwaarschijnlijk slecht. Één van de redenen dat ik er ook (voorlopig) mee ben gestopt (ook vanwege de intensiviteit, de sfeer, en de niet al te beste nummers).

6 van de 7 in de herkansing. Alleen DeWolff is voorlopig door. Van een nummer als dat van Cold War Kids kan ik het nog begrijpen (niet heel bijzonder, wel catchy), maar die moet dus nog aan bod komen. Mocht Four Tet en Wilco het niet redden dan is dat topic echt een lachertje geworden.
