Dat lijkt me een uitgemaakte zaak, dan. Bij mij is het precies andersom: ik zet veel liever Spotify aan (opstarttijd hooguit 10 seconden) en beluister in elk geval de liedjes die ik nog niet ken. Dat is bij mij eerder precies andersom. Spotify heb ik in 5 seconden opgestart en binnen 10 seconden heb ik de nummers gestart (oftewel, in 10 seconden klaargezet voor de rest van de ladders). Het laden van 2 filmpjes op YouTube duurt al langer. Laat staan 22. Ondanks dat ik redelijk wat ook op mijn pc heb, neem ik wel genoegen met de kwaliteit van Spotify. Spotify streamt gewoon 320 kbps (opmerking: als je genoeg betaald uiteraard) indien mogelijk. Dat is over het algemeen niet hoger dan van mijn eigen bestanden.

Maar even een vraagje: zou je een bepaalde auto ook niet kopen, omdat je het portier twee keer zou moeten openen, voordat je in zou kunnen stappen? Zoiets banaals zou toch niet uit moeten maken als het voor de rest een goed programma is (met de kanttekening dat je inderdaad aangegeven hebt dat er meer niet bevalt aan Spotify).

Natuurlijk ga ik geen auto kopen waarvan het portier 2x open moet, da's toch onzin?

Als ik mijn eigen nominaties buiten beschouwing laat dan is dit nummer voor mij toch wel dé nominatie van 2012. Er zijn weinig songs die zo fantastisch gebalanceerd en met gevoel zijn opgezet. Alles klopt hier gewoon, Ingetogen, rustig opbouwend, melodieus, melancholisch maar niet pathetisch, niet overdone maar wel met een hele mooie warme sound en subliem gezongen. Werkelijk waar een meesterwerk wat mij betreft, zo goed hoor ik ze zelden.
