Katatonia wint deze 'X of the Y'-ronde. Goed nummer, van Katatonia waardeer ik sowieso het ingetogenene en toch wat schurende aspect van hun muziek.
De NWOBHM van Saxon (lekker rocken en headbangen) wint het makkelijk van de moeilijkdoenerige muziek van zowel Textures als Between the Buried and Me. Beide waren kanshebber voor de 2 punten, maar het einde van het BtBaM is zo flauw dat de punten richting Tilburg gaan.

Ik was niet zo'n Saxon fan, maar deze track is toch wel een rasechte klassieker. Geen metal-fuif waar dit niet voorbijkwam!

Ik was ook niet zo'n Saxon fan. Maar hun nieuwe werk beviel me wel en zo ben ik weer bij de oude Saxon terecht gekomen. Toch wel grotere klasse dan wat ik er toen van vond.

Ik ken het niet echt, maar bij dit nummer wisselden mijn luisterervaringen van Wauw! naar What!? naar Bwèèèk! en omgekeerd. Met andere woorden, niet echt een samenhangende eerste indruk.

Ik heb dat album op cd gekocht omdat het hier zo hoog scoort. Onverdeeld enthousiast ben ik er niet over maar toch leuk om af en toe te draaien.

Het is een grillig nummer, inderdaad. Bovendien zijn enkele nummers op het album waarop dit nummer staat, 'Colors' nog wel beter dan deze song. Maar ik vind het gewoon een erg sterk nummer, beter dan de andere vier. Tot nog toe sta ik daar alleen in.

De nummers van Katatonia en Saxon vind ik ook vrij goed. Epica en Textures vallen mee, maar ben ik niet kapot van.

Grote BtBaM-fan hier! Zeker de eerste tien minuten van 'Ants of the Sky' zijn subliem; het 'flauwe' einde zie ik op het album als geheel meer als een soort intermezzo om daarna over te gaan naar het wonderlijke drieluik 'Prequel to the Sequel / Viridian / White Walls'
