Duidelijk. Die beat van Jaylib is wel nice, maar er wordt wel heel saai gerapt. Laat ik nou net de raps over het algemeen belangrijker vinden dan de beats. En dan komen we dus terecht bij Virtuoso. Één verse van meer dan 5 minuten vol met punchlines en heerlijk geflowt. Wat een energie ook.

Inderdaad is die track inhoudelijk sterker, maar die beat is echt slecht. Dilla doet inderdaad niets interessants op deze beat behalve dan praten over hoe Detroit is. Gelukkig is de beat zo goed dat het vrij weinig uitmaakt. Bovendien vind ik dat Virtuoso veel te interessant probeert te doen met zijn woorden.

De beat van Man of the Hour moet je liggen denk ik. Ik hou wel van dat soort Hip Hop (AotP, Snowgoons, JMT enz.).
