Dat snap ik wel. Ik draai te bekende platen ook veel minder, en dat geldt zeker voor deze. Maar ik heb mijn lijst ook deels gemaakt o.b.v. de impact die de platen op mij hadden in de tijd.
Die van Scott had dat ook, en die draai ik inderdaad nog steeds geregeld. Die Winehouse is kapot gedraaid door de radio helaas. Maar ik vind het wel briljant. Zeker nummers als Love Is a Losing Game. Tears Dry on Their Own en Wake Up Alone.

Ik vind het met name een hele mooi top 6, met "The rainbow children" verassend op 6.
Ondanks dat ik halverwege jaren 90 al een beetje ben afgehaakt met de hiphop (ik was meer van de jazzy sound van A tribe called Quest, Guru, Jungle Brothers etc. dan van de "bad boys" sound die later volgde) kan ik zelfs deze van Atmosphere wel waarderen.
Amos Lee en India.Arie scoren net als eerder genoemde Jill Scott (Who is.. helemaal) wel opvallend laag.

Het is een mooie lijst geworden. En dan vallen de jaren '00 helemaal niet zo tegen. Bedankt weer thelion.
