Dank stoepkrijt voor de organisatie. Het was weer eens leuk om Keane weer eens wat op het netvlies (nou, de gehoorvariant daarvan dan ) te krijgen. Het bevestigde dat ze erg goede muziek gemaakt hebben, maar duidelijk ook wel wat mindere.
Je gaat voor je volgende KO uit een iets ander vaatje tappen, zie ik . Het duurt nog even, maar dan ben ik zeker weer aanwezig.

Ok, dan is het nu de beurt aan Meat Loaf. Een artiest die niet zo populair is op Musicmeter, maar dat is niet helemaal terecht. Want ondanks dat de bombast en clichés je af en toe om de oren vliegen, heeft hij - zeker in samenwerking met Jim Steinman - een flink aantal heerlijke nummers afgeleverd.

Desondanks heb ik ervoor gekozen om me te beperken tot de eerste twee Bat out of Hell albums, aangevuld met een aantal persoonlijke favorieten, welke voornamelijk van de geweldige albums Bad Ringer en Welcome to the Neighbourhood af komen.

Ai, Dead Ringer For Love ligt er al uit

Jammer dat niet het hele oevre van Meat aan bod komt. Vooral Bad Attitude en het derde BOoH album (The Monster is Loose) vind ik ook geweldige albums.
