Verder met de "New Wave/Post-Punk" editie van 1981, het jaar waarin MTV startte met non-stop uitzending van muziek video's wat toch mede bepalend werd voor (hit)succes.

Kort nog even de regels aangaande de te nomineren nummers:

1. maximaal vijf nummers van verschillende artiesten/bands
2. release op album/single/ep in 1981
3. nummer heeft niet eerder meegedaan in dit topic
4. bij voorkeur met muzikale link (zodat je zelf de gewenste versie/kwaliteit kunt aangeven)
