Ach dat doet mij dan toch goed, naast het favoriete liedje van John Peel is het ook wel een van mijn favoriete liedjes.
In de volgende editie 1979, wil ik een Undertones liedje nomineren wat ik nog mooier vond/vind.
Ik hield in die tijd erg van The Undertones, heb in de Effenaar nog eens met ze op het podium staan te dansen.
Als Dazzler klaar is met feesten begint 1979, een pracht jaar (mooiste ooit??) met debuut albums van o.a. Joy Division, The Cure, Wipers, Stiff little fingers en The Undertones.
Daarnaast Mooie albums van Talking Heads, The jam, Wire, Magazine, The Clash en The Only ones!!.

Het beste nummer in de finale heeft gelukkig gewonnen!

Voor mij 1979 na 1981 wel het mooiste wave-jaar in ieder geval.

Mooie winnaar, John Peel zou trots op ons zijn.

Ben zelf tevreden ook wel gezien het finalemateriaal; de volgende 3 jaren zijn wat mij betreft créme de la créme.

Zodra Dazzler van de week (morgen?) de nominatieronde start ( naar eigen opzet/idee) ben ik van de partij. Ik heb zeker 5 topnummers, allen Finalewaardig !

Volgens mij wordt dit jaar al een slagveld, een Private Hell voor Everyone.

Overigens was er in 1979 ook nog een goei bandje met een mooi liedje genaamd Private hell.
Zoals eerder gesteld een top jaar, wordt nog moeilijk met maar drie liedjes.
Oh en bij mijn lijstje hierboven mag het debuut van The Gang of four ook gerust staan.
Man, oh man wat een jaar, dat soort jaren maken ze tegenwoordig niet meer.

Ik weet niet of je in één nominatieronde 2x dezelfde artiest/band mag nomineren?

Bij mij mocht dat niet inderdaad, maar volgens mij staat dat niet bij dazzler zijn uitleg. Als het wel zo is, dan verander ik het wel.

Gezien het niet geheel zeker is of er een 2e ronde komt heb ik mijn ijzers maar in het vuur gesmeten.

Ik dacht dat het een regel was dat je niet meer
dan twee keer dezelfde artiest mocht kiezen per nominatieronde.
Dat vind ik zelf namelijk een goeie deal. Dus bij deze ook voor 1979 de regel.
