Misschien ben ik wat pessimistisch en gaat het nog meevallen maar we streven hard af op de minst gevarieerde finale ooit....met een beetje pech hebben we naast de traditionele Radiohead en Smiths trio's (waarbij Radiohead wel eens meer dan 3 nummers kan gaan leveren) ook een trio Beatles nummers (A Day in the Life zal wel doorgaan, Here comes the Sun gaat denk ik zeker bij de beste nummers 5 eindigen en While My Guitar Gently Weeps gaat op zeker herkansen denk ik en is zeker nog niet uitgeschakeld), trio Springsteen (z'n populairste 2 nummers komen nog en kunnen Thunder Road vergezellen) nummer en trio Bowie nummers (Heroes is al door, Ashes to Ashes maakt nog kans op de herkansing en er komen nog 2 Bowie nummers).
Ervan uitgaande dat Hotellounge er ook uitvliegt dan zijn de 16 afvallers verdeelt over 14 artiesten en zijn 9 artiesten daarvan al helemaal uitgespeeld.

Mooi

Ja dat gevoel had ik ook al een tijdje, maar zolang iedereen gewoon stemt naar zijn smaak is er niet zoveel aan te doen. Geforceerd spannender stemmen lijkt mij ook een beetje overdreven.

Vooral de jonge klassiekers die afgelopen jaren steeds vastere kandidaten werden in de bovenste regionen zoals DJ Shadow, Portishead en Neutral Milk Hotel lijken vooral de verliezers te zijn. Er zal wel een verandering zijn in het profiel van de gemiddelde deelnemer.

Dan schoppen we die er allemaal in de volgende ronde gewoon uit.

O ja, voor de zekerheid, voordat dit berichtje misschien verkeerd geïnterpreteerd wordt. Een ander profiel van de gemiddelde deelnemer zie ik niet als iets negatiefs.
