Geniaal filmpje weer gigage. Dit lijken nog professionele opnames ook. Was er vroeger een tv-zender of programma dat aandacht besteedde aan rockers/metallers van eigen bodem? Of komt dit van regionale zenders af.

Ik gooi er al vast twee in, omdat ik morgen een groot deel van de dag niet online ben.

Begin jaren 80 was er nog geen MTV, TMF, VH1, zelfs nog geen kabel. (zender pakket NL1 NL2, Dui 1, 2 ,3 BRT) Dus de filmpjes komen van echte TV programma's. Iedereen kent wel TopPop maar daarnaast was er voor de jongeren ook Veronica met een eigen popprogramma genaamd Countdown. Andere jongerenprogramma's van oa de VARA (je ziet maar!) sprongen ook in op de opkomende (hard) rock scene die Nederland toen rijk was. Nauwlettend werd de papieren TV gids bestudeerd of op het Duitse RockPalast ook nog iets van gading voorbij kwam. Video in de aanslag. Maar het meeste werd van de Radio opgenomen en elkaars elpees tapen, vaak geen idee hoe de band eruit zag.

zo ging dat ja, in een flits van nostalgie zag ik het weer voor me bij ons zat in het zenderpakket ook nog RTB, en voor NL1 en 2 moest je voor goed beeld met zo 'n kastje de antenne die op het dak stond draaien

Mooie winnaar! Eigenlijk werd al vrij snel duidelijk dat we dit keer geen klassieker als winnaar zouden hebben, wat ik persoonlijk altijd net wat leuker vind. De keuze was uiteindelijk uit vier hele toffe, ongewonere nummers.

We gaan inderdaad verder met de G. Normaliter wisselen wizard en ik de 'regie' af, maar omdat de beste man onlangs vader geworden is en nu louter tijd heeft om luiers te verschonen, zal ik nog een ronde lang de presentatie in handen houden. Mocht iemand t.z.t. mij eens af willen lossen, dan is dat uiteraard een welkom idee, maar in principe heb ik hier denk ik gewoon tijd voor voorlopig.
