Dit moest even op me inwerken. Het begint vreemd, wat moet ik hier mee? Sigur Rós-achtig, Coco-Rosie. Het schuurt en boeit. En dan ineens een soort David Sylvian-achtig nummer, Talk Talk... kan ook. En wtf, dan krijg je een country-riedel voor je voeten geworpen.

Ik mag dit wel (en het album ben ik al aan het beluisteren).

Alsof het zo uit de jaren '80 komt (Lloyd Cole en consorten). Blijft lekker, ook al is een heel album net weer iets te veel van het goede.

Lijkt mij ook bijzonder geschikt (album) voor GrafGantz

Zou het voor mij geschikt zijn denk je?

Gitaar, drums en een viool. Het hele album klinkt best cool. Misschien iets too much, maar een nummer zo op zichzelf is heerlijk.

Ha ha ja dat is grappig, alhoewel ik jouw smaak best goed ken had ik je hier niet direct mee geassocieerd nee. Komt denk ik door de uitvoerende namen die vaak acteren in de ambient/electronica hoek waar jij minder mee hebt. Maar ja, je hebt gelijk, ik heb je ten onrechte over hoofd gezien. Tof dat je het ook kan waarderen, hele album is trouwens wat minder opzwepend dan dit nummer.

Nou, ik vind Noplace III anders toch best opzwepend.

Fijn nummer, maar wel iets te lang.
