Inmiddels zijn we weer een jaar verder. Een top 50 is voor sommigen toch iets te hoog gegrepen, waaronder ik, maar om het toch iets groter te maken dan vorig jaar, mag je dit jaar ook een top 30 inleveren. In principe mag je ook een top 15, 20 of 25 inleveren.
Een andere tijdsspanne is dan wellicht voor volgend jaar.

En zoals altijd, de regels:
Het spel is vrij simpel:
* Maak een top 15-20-25-30 van platen uit de jaren '60 (en plaats deze in dit topic)

* De albums moeten óf hier op musicmeter aangegeven staan als 1960-1969 (ongeacht het type album of het materiaal dat erop staat) óf uitsluitend(!) opnames bevatten die uit de jaren '60 stammen (naar eigen inzicht!).

* Ieder type album is toegestaan, dus ook EP’s en verzamelaars. De kans dat zo’n album medestanders vindt is daarentegen erg twijfelachtig.

* Noteren gaat als volgt:
1. <.ARTIEST> - <.ALBUM> (jaartal is optioneel)
Let op de . achter het nummer en de titel dient geschreven te worden zoals die op musicmeter aangegeven is (Dus incl. de woorden zoals The). Het beste is dus gewoon om het rechtstreeks van musicmeter te kopiëren.

High Tide

Tja, als het titelloze album uit 1970 van een jaar eerder was geweest, had dat mijn lijst zonder meer gehaald.

En het is weer begonnen. De 60's zijn een prachtig decennium, een van de mooiste vind ik. Ik heb dit jaar ook weer veel ontdekt in dit decennium en de komende weken ga ik ook nog eens flink wat jaren '60 albums luisteren, mijn lijstje komt dus nog wat later.

Ik had niet door dat we al begonnen waren; ik zal binnenkort een lijstje plaatsen. Ik vrees echter dat mijn lijstje niet echt veranderd is.

Ik lever ook nog een lijstje in.

Toelichting: de paplepel wat betreft lp's thuis reikte voor wat betreft de 60's niet echt verder dan 1966. Ik ben gebrainwasht met mersey beat, Top-40 uit die tijd en de beginperiodes van Beatles, Stones, Animals, Kinks, The Who, Hendrix e.d., maar ook met stijlen uit de jaren '40 en '50 (skiffle, rock 'n roll e.d.). Eigenlijk door MusicMeter flower power classics (Love, Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Beatles latere periode e.d.) gaan beluisteren. Er ligt nog een gapend gat te wachten m.b.t. de discografie van story tellers als Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Van Morrison e.d., ook wil ik me nog meer verdiepen in jazz- en soulclassics. Hoewel er allemaal geliefde plaatjes in staan voelt mijn 60's lijst dus nog wel wat 'scheef' aan.
