De documentaires waar jij naar refereert zijn meestal gelieerd aan platenmaatschappijen of aan bepaalde soort media die niet naar diepgang zoeken in hun materiaal. Kijk eens naar de Nederlandse berichtgeving in de media rondom de geschiedenis rond Nederlandse hiphop. Men zal vaak beginnen in de Randstad tewrijl er ook veel buiten de randstad werd gedaan in de tachtiger jaren. Media is nooit een norm of maatstaf.
De Amerikaanse documentaire's zijn al helemaal geen maatstaf. Objectiviteit is ver te zoeken. Als je er al naar kijkt dan slijmen ze wat af in die programma's. Bweeek! Ik heb nog nooit iets kritisch gehoord in dat soort documentaires. Altijd van: hij was zo geweldig en al jong wist ik dat hij het zou maken, en ik heb zo geweldig met hem samengewerkt. Hij is een van de grootsten op aarde etc. etc. Kom op zeg don't fall for that bull en vorm je eigen mening.De media heeft hem gemaakt en daar heeft hij dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt.

Daar is hij nu vet mee...

Hij heeft vrij weinig genoten van al zijn geld zoiezo all eyez on me ging naar suge grotendeels en al die commercie na zijn dood nou ja misschien voor nieuwe bloemen op zijn graf.

Hij heeft wel genoten van zijn geld. Zeer zeker.

Het ging meer om de tijd dat die ervan heeft genoten, maarja luister dit album nooit meer heb er veel van genoten dus verlaag hem niet toch te veel waarde voor mij.

Dit is mijn meest gedraaide plaat, zonder twijfel. Maar ook ik luister hem zelden nu. Ook heb ik hem niet verlaagd, ook teveel waarde voor mij.

Even terug naar de man zijn muziek: Ik heb nooit gezegd dat hij slechte muziek maakte maar vind wel dat zijn muziek en teksten worden overschat en dat hij naar mening in de verste verte niet tot de beste HipHop artiesten behoort. Mensen check allemaal ook effe 2pacalypse Now: toen toonde ie z'n echte MC skills en waren er totaal geen commerciële tracks te bespeuren.
Er was een tijd dat All Eyez On Me m'n favoriete album was en dat 2pac m'n favoriete rapper , ik noemde hem steeds "Tha Legend Of Rap" en dat is ie mss nog steeds. Maar nadat ik Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Biggie, Nas, Ice Cube, Eminem etc. deftig begon te beluisteren heb ik m'n mening een beetje bijgestuurd : hij is één van de besten, maar niet de beste.
Er zijn zoveel verschillende Mc's die elk hun indrukwekkende kwaliteiten hebben dat het moeilijk is om echt 1 "best one" te kiezen.
Maar effe terug over dit album ; Suge Knight betaalde borg om 2pac uit de gevangenis te krijgen in ruil dat ie een succesvol dubbelalbum voor Suge zou maken. Hij tekende een contract bij Death Row Records dus dat wil zeggen dat hij een contract tekende onder het label dat toen bekend stond om z'n Hip-Hop dat voornamelijk over "Gangsta's and Gangbangin', Bitches and Hoes, Weed, Sex etc. ging. Het was dus logisch dat All Eyez On Me een soortgelijk album zou worden. Toch slaagde Pac erin om tracks met andere onderwerpen erop te zetten, daarom dat dit album qua inhoud tesamen met The 7 Day Theory toch wel tot "Death Row albums met redelijke inhoud" mag gerekend worden.
Maar voordat mensen 2pac gaan beoordelen als "overschat" check dan aub effe "2Pacalypse Now", "Srictly 4 my N.I.G.G.A.Z." , "Me Against The World" . Vooral die eerste 2 albums kennen de meeste mensen weinig, dat is spijtig want "All Eyez On Me" wordt als hét 2pac album beschouwd terwijl dat niet helemaal zo is, hij heeft verschillende albums gemaakt die minstens evenwaardig zijn.
En op de mensen die vinden dat 2pac een beetje paranoia was na z'n vrijlating wel hoe zou je zelf zijn als je zogenaamde vrienden van een schietpartij die op jouw geplands is afweten maar niets zeggen? Of als een vrouw met je mee in de kamer gaat, sex met haar hebt waar zij 100% mee akkoord is gegaan (anders gaat ze toch niet met je in de kamer!) en 1 dag later bij de media en politie gaat klagen dat je haar hebt "verkracht"? Wetende dat je al niet zo'n mooie naam hebt bij de politie etc. wegens de waarheid over hun wandaden die het daglicht niet mogen zien te vertellen in je raps?
Ja man in z'n beginjaren was 2pac echt wel "Amerikaz Nightmare" omdat ie de waarheid vertelde.

Hij was niet de enige die de waarheid vertelde hoor! Dat deed Public enemy al bijna 10 jaar voor hem evenals NWA , Ice T en nog vele anderen.
Hij was wel een van de eerste HipHop miljonairs omdat hij met de "juiste" mensen in zee was gegaan.(Suge Knight?) Vergeet niet dat je alleen maar je stem aan zoveel mogelijk mensen kan laten horen als je de juiste kanalen weet te bereiken. Dat heeft hij goed gedaan. Doe je dit dan vindt men je wel en wordt je vanzelf groot of groter! (Zie ook Esmee Denters, wel aardig maar niet geweldig, wordt misschien wel groot door Youtube als kanaal te gebruiken en bereikt hierdoor nieuwe kanalen; andere artiesten die wat met haar willen doen etc.etc.)

Ik ken al zijn albums, maar waardeer 'All Eyez On Me' en 'Only God Can Judge Me' meer.

Tupac is een internationaal fenomeen! Hij is de beste rapper aller tijden! Beter dan Nas, Guru, Big L of wie dan ook, wat mij betreft! Tupac's stem, zijn karakter eigenschap, vrijheid, gezegdes, liefde voor zijn moeder/homy's, hoe hij rapt en waar hij allemaal over rapt laat mij altijd kippenvel krijgen! (dit gebeurt vast niet alleen maar bij mij)

(Had laatst weer effe die film 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin' van 50 cent gezien. Daar zegt 50: 'After Tupac, everyone wanna be a rapper'! Gelijk heeft hij!)

Ben het met jou, ewalk en waxs eens maar ik denk eerder dat je je van zijn muziek gaat ontgroeien en beseft dat er eigenlijk nog vele betere rappers/groepen in het verschiet liggen. 2pac was natuurlijk niet de aller-aller-aller-aller-allerbeste (al berust dat soms toch nog wel op meningen), maar de man heeft toch goede dingen gedaan en kan toch gewoon een goede rapper genoemt worden, misschien kunnen zelfs mensen van in de dertig zich nog erg goed vinden in de teksten van tupac, en tegelijkertijd ook nog hun klassiekers kennen. Het lijkt wel (ik kan het mis hebben, hoor) alsof jullie een beetje proberen te interpreteren dat 2pac één of ander commercieel product was, opgezet door een platenmaatschappij om bergen geld te verdienen.

2pac koos ook bewust voor commercie denk ik, in Bomb First hoor je EDI uithalen naar Xzibit voor zijn track Paparazzi (,,It's a shame, n*ggas in the rapgame, only for the money and the fame")

Ja das waar, maar tracks zoals "Brenda's Got a Baby", "Keep Ya Head Up" hadden toen nog geen enkele rapper neergezet.

Ik vind die waarheid ook nogal een krom woord, aangezien waarheid in de hedendaagse samenleving een illusie is. Als jullie zo geilen op waarheid en realisme zou ik vooral geen Tupac luisteren.

Keep Ya Head Up is meer een song die je op kan peppen als je je een beetje klote ofzo voelt, vind ik.

The video "I ain't Mad at Cha" was released only a few days after his death. "I ain't Mad at Cha" is track 13 on the album All Eyes On Me. The video shows Tupac as an angel in heaven. In the video, Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with a friend, which is very similar to how he was shot in real life.

Interestingly, Tupac dies in his last video released under the name "2Pac". His new video "Toss It Up" from the new album was released under the name "Makaveli". The second video to be released by the name Makaveli is "To Live and Die in L.A." But how could they shoot the second video when he is "dead". Was the video really shot 4 months before his death, back in August of '96?

In the video "Hail Mary" released under the name Makaveli, there is a gravestone that says Makaveli. But the gravestone is cracked and there is a hole right in front of it, inferring that Makaveli rose from the dead.

A shooting involving Snoop Doggy Dogg occured close to the release of his album Doggystyle. The shooting made Snoop appear more "real" and showed his fans that he really was a gangsta. The shooting gave him respect because everyone that bought his album believed what he was talking about. Within one week of its release, Doggystyle went platnium. Snoop was signed to the same label as Tupac which is Death Row Records.

In December '96, Tupac's new album went platinum. In interviews prior to the shooting, Tupac talked about how he wanted to stop rapping and being a gangsta and get out of the limelight. What is the only way Tupac could completly escape the media spotlight ??? (Answer: if the public thought he was dead.)

Press wasn't going to be allowed at the funeral, but then the funeral was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Tupac always wore a bulletproof vest, no matter where he went. Why did he remove it at a very public event like a Tyson fight?

In most of his songs he talks about being buried, so why was he allegedly cremated the day after he "died"? And since when do they cremate someone the day after death in a murder case?

Some say that Tupac modified the Machiavelli name because if you rearrange the letters, they spell, "Am Alive," or, "I Am Alive."

The title of the new album by Makaveli (Tupac) is The 7 Day Theory. He was shot on September 7th; and survived on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and"died" the 13th. Hence the title The 7 Day Theory.

Tupac's album All Eyes on Me was released on Feb.13, 1996. Tupac "died" on Sept.13, 1996. It is quite a coincidence that the two dates are exactly 7 months apart.

The Outlawz have confirmed Simon is a reference to Suge Knight who was with Tupac the night of the shooting.

In Richie Rich's album Seasoned Veteran, which was released on the same day as The 7 Day Theory, on the song "N*ggas Done Changed" which is a duet with Tupac, Tupac says the following lyrics: "I've been shot and murdered, can't tell you how it happened word for word / but best believe that n*ggas' gonna get what they deserve." This phrase implies that Tupac knows he will be dead when Richie Rich's album is released.

In Makaveli's (Tupac's) song "White Man's World" on album The 7 Day Theory, he says "We ain't never gonna walk off this planet unless ya'll choose to." Did he choose to walk off the planet by faking his death?

In Tupac's song "Ambitionz az a Ridah" on the album All Eyes On Me, he says "Blast me but they didn't finish, didn't diminish my powers so now I'm back to be a muthaf*ckin' menace, they cowards thats why they tried to set me up, had b*tch *ss n*ggas on my team so indeed they wet me up, BUT I'M BACK REINCARNATED." This implies that Tupac is reincarnated as Makaveli.

Tupac "died" in Las Vegas which is a payoff city, meaning all sorts of folks have been known to be on the take. That means doctors, press, lawyers, etc.

In a 1994 interview with Tupac, he said before he went to prison that if he was ever sent to prison when he came out he would be worse than before. He was. He also said when he came out it would be like he was reborn. Was he speaking literally? He already died and he was worse when he came out of jail, plus Tupac switched his rapping name from 2 Pac to Makaveli, that could be considered a rebirth, all that's left is a physical rebirth (A sighting) and so far he's already completed more than half of this prophecy.

Why wouldn’t a company as powerful and rich as Death Row Records not put up a reward to find the killers?

In Tupac's song, "No More Pain," he says, "A heart of a soldier with the brains to teach a whole nation..." Is he referring to Jesus or Machiavelli?

The cross on Tupac's back says, "Exodus 16:31." , The verse itself seems to have little meaning, but read this verse, found right above it:, "So the people rested on the seventh day." All of Exodus 16 deals with the 7 Dayz.

The song in which Tupac says he's alive, "Hold Ya Head," on the Makaveli CD, before Tupac begins rapping, a voice says, "Can you see him?" Another voice replies, "I see him." Then Tupac softly says, "I'm alive..."

Tupac kwam in '91 opzetten en was interessant maar maakte toen lang niet zoveel indruk als hij na zijn dood heeft gemaakt. Zijn ster ging pas rijzen toen hij de producties met Dre en suge ging maken. Hij is inderdaad geen slechte rapper en heeft inderdaad een aantal poetische goede werken gemaakt. Ik kan ze best waarderen. Maar hetgeen hij opbouwt breekt hij ook weer af door met een Suge Knight in zee te gaan. uiteindelijk is hij idd een commercieel product geworden.

All Eyez On Me dan wel, maar de albums daarvoor zeer zeker niet. Die vind ik dan ook stukken beter dan AEOM.
Alleen 1albm is commercieel, en dan wordt hij als rapper al neergezet als een commercieel iemand.
