Ik heb de openingspost wel gelezen en ik heb er ook over nagedacht om mijn posts aan te passen, maar ik heb geen top 20, maar 2 top 10's en mijn lijsten publiceer ik niet alleen hier en om voor iedere plek, waar ik publiceer weer een aparte hitlijst te maken, gaat mij te ver. Ik heb het overwogen, maar ik doe het niet.

In zo'n wekelijkse top 40, in mijn geval top 10 + tip 30, gaat al genoeg tijd zitten, zonder dat je dat voor iedere website anders moet doen, als ik daarom niet meer meetel voor de gezamenlijke, dan zij dat zo, ik zou het jammer vinden!

Het eerste nummer 1 van het jaar is voor Billie Eilish​ met een overmacht aan stemmen, ze behaald de hoogste positie voor de tweede keer, nadat zij met 'Bury a friend' vorig jaar 3 weken ook al bovenaan stond. Verder vooral veel nieuwe binnenkomers en grote verschuivingen in de lijst

De band met de lange naam doet heel goede zaken: ze pakken de nummer 1 en de hoogste nieuwe entry! Tenminste één medesamensteller zal hier heel blij mee zijn.

Wat een grappige muziek!

Alleen een bandnaam als …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead is natuurlijk tenenkrommend, meestal haak ik dan af. Dus het is zeker goed dat je het even benoemd!

Vreemd dat ik deze Amerikaanse indie-rockband niet tegenkom in mijn indie tiplijsten. Daar zou het zeker niet misstaan.
Het is trouwens voor iedereen hier in dit topic buitengewoon opbeurende muziek, mag ook wel eens worden gezegd

Week 2
- Een nieuwe nummer 1! Circa Waves heb ik altijd wel een goeie band gevonden. Typische Engelse Indie rock. Hun single Jacqueline vind ik erg leuk, word er altijd vrolijk van.
- Conan Gray krijgt met The Story een nieuwe notering. Zoals de naam al zegt een wat verhalend nummer. Erg mooi, zeker wat rustiger dan zijn eerdere nummers.
- De singles van het nog uit te komen album van Eefje de Visser wisten me nog niet echt te beklijven. Maar bij het nummer Oh is dat absoluut wel het geval. Ik moet ook wel zeggen dat Eefje de Visser mij niet altijd weet te raken, maar dit Oh vind ik dus erg mooi.
- Heel erg kijk ik uit naar het nieuwe album van Tame Impala. Alle singles zijn een schot in de roos. Ik wil niet te vroeg juichen, maar ik vind gemiddeld deze singles nog beter klinken dan de singles van Currents. Ook Lost in Yesterday vind ik weer heerlijk.
- Tenslotte ook nog een nieuwe notering van Caroline Rose. Ik heb erg genoten van haar album van twee jaar terug. Ze is één van de velen vrouwen die de Indie-scene een nieuw geluid geven. Denk ook aan bijvoorbeeld Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus en Soccer Mommy. Met de single Feel The Way I Want gaat Caroline Rose echter wat meer richting de pop-kant. Ik ben hoe dan ook benieuwd naar wat het nieuwe album gaat brengen.

Ik heb hem uit het lijstje van DjFrankie, inderdaad een plaat uit 2012, maar vorig jaar is er een video bij geplaatst.

Het eerste lijstje van 2020. Ik heb de afgelopen 2/3 weken nauwelijks nieuwe muziek geluisterd (ook wel eens lekker), maar heb daardoor nu wel weer terug zin om nieuwe muziek te ontdekken. De nieuwe binnenkomers uit de lijst komen nog uit de tiplijst van 2019. Maar de tiplijst zit inmiddels alweer vol met nieuwe muziek .

Het nieuwe jaar begint op stoom te komen, gister een hoop nieuwe goede singles die overigens bijna allemaal een week mogen weken Deze week wel 6 binnenkomers waarvan een paar nog van december en ook al 2 van gister.
Hoogste nieuwe is van The Orielles; ik noemde ze vorige week al als vergelijkbaar met Las Kellies en nu hebben ze zelf ook een nieuwe (de oude verdwijnt ook deze week). Het klinkt weer als meer van hetzelfde en dat is in dit geval goed. Tussen haakjes staat de albumtitel al die binnenkort uitkomt.
Peaness is een van de singles die gister uitkwam. Vorig jaar scoorden ze goed bij mij met het brexit nummer Breakfast en nu is er een nieuwe. Kaizen, vreemde titel en de japanse ondertiteling in de clip, ik heb geen idee waar het over gaat. Maar het klinkt weer prima, rammelende pop/rock. Beetje Hinds maar dan muzikaal vele malen beter.
En Ettendant Ana, hoe kwam ik daar nou ook weer aan, misschien spotify? Het is in elk geval een franse band, de muziek is weinig frans maar gewoon pop/rock zoals ik graag hoor.
Violet Soda komt uit Brazilië, punkpop/garagerock, ook helemaal prima.
Nog een van gister, dat was wel een verrassing, zomaar een nieuwe van The Indien. Het is al een aantal jaar geleden dat ze 2 ep's uitbrachten. Nu zijn ze terug, ik weet niet of de bezetting nog hetzelfde is maar de stem van de zangeres is onmiskenbaar.
Onderaan ook nog Iris Pennig, in de categorie van oa. Roos Blufpand en Aafke Romein, beetje wisselvallig vind ik maar deze single kan er voorlopig zeker mee door.

Week 2 2020:
Het jaar is nu echt begonnen met veel nieuwe releases wat leidt tot een grote opkuis in mijn lijst met maar liefst 11 nieuwkomers.
De hoogste nieuwkomer is de prachtige nieuwe song van Susanne Sundfør die de soundtrack schreef voor een documentaire over de Noorse fotografe Lene Marie Fossen die eind vorig jaar overleed aan de gevolgen van anorexia. De videoclip erbij is zeer aangrijpend.
De nieuwe plaat van Mura Masa lijkt zeer gevarieerd te gaan worden want na gastbijdragen van oa Clairo en Slowthai schakelde hij voor zijn nieuwe rockgetinte single Ellie Rowsell in, de zangeres van Wolf Alice.
The Innocence Mission draaien intussen al 30 jaar mee en hun 13de album komt binnenkort uit waarvan The Brother Williams Said een mooi pianonummer is met die typische stem van Karen Peris.
Verder ondermeer nieuwe songs van Agnes Obel, Eefje de Visser, Other Lives (eerste song in 5jr), de kersverse BBC sound of 2020 winnares Celeste, Georgia en Isobel Campbell.

Ik zal eens even in de gaten houden hoe de verwerking gaat ivm die standaardisatie. Ik had namelijk in het Excelbestand ooit allerlei code ingebouwd die specifiek aangepast was op de aanleverwijze van de users. Maar goed, ik heb dat het afgelopen jaar natuurlijk niet meer bijgehouden, dus als mensen hun lijst anders zijn gaan aanleveren, zal ook de verwerking niet meer goed zijn. En als mensen waarvoor ik in Excel een 'standaard aanpassing' had geprogrammeerd e.e.a. nu ineens gestandaardiseerd aanleveren, zou het ook kunnen dat het Excelbestand er nu júíst een potje van maakt... Maar goed, komen we wel uit!

blur8: in dat licht bezien zal ik deze week wel even meekijken, laat het bestand dus nog maar even in de Dropbox staan als je wilt

Geen mutaties die de specifieke verwerking tegen werken.
Wat dat betreft is het een echte standaard, die concreet tijdwinst geeft.
