Toen-ie pas uit was beluisterd in een platenzaak en meteen gekocht. Ik kende ´The Scream´ toen nog niet, maar wel de reputatie van de band. In een recensie stonden prikkelende zaken over het album: ontoegankelijk, beklemmend, ... in feite een soort oergothic, zou later blijken.
