En met dank aan de nieuwe zoekfunctie weet ik nu ook waarom. Ik heb op niet minder dan 1880 releases gestemd uit dit decennium, bijna 50% van m'n totale stemmen. Dat is zelfs nog meer dan de 5 voorgaande decennia tezamen

Ondanks dat de 70- en 80-er jaren mijn favoriete muziekdecennia zijn, was het toch weer verdomd lastig om mij tot 20 toppertjes te beperken. De nummers 1, 2 en 3 zijn echter onbetwist, daarna komt de volgorde niet zo nauw meer. En krasse knar McCartney staat er gewoon bij, zoals het hoort, omdat hij ook in het afgelopen decennium nog f#!(&)?#%!@( goeie platen heeft afgeleverd.
