Ik hoop wel dat ook wat progmetalheads dit topic ontdekken, want een Top 40 zonder bijvoorbeeld Images and Words en Metropolis Part 2: Scenes from a Memory is volstrekt ongeloofwaardig.

Respectievelijk 15 en 10 jaar geleden had ik nooit kunnen denken dat Smashing Pumpkins en Godspeed You Black Emperor zo laag zouden staan in een 90s lijstje, maar muzikale voorkeuren veranderen nu eenmaal.

Vanashing Point boven Screamadelica, die er dit jaar maar voor het eerst instaat, herman?

Yep, ik vind Vanishing Point muzikaal toch wel wat beter, al is Screamadelica baanbrekender geweest (sowieso als muzikaal statement). Maar ja, VanishingPoint heeft zo'n lelijke hoes.

Ligt het aan mij of heeft iedereen totaal andere lijstjes? Er lijkt weinig concensus over deze periode.

Ik kan wel wat consensus noemen, als je dat OK vindt.
