Ik ben dankzij deze lijstjes toch wat nieuwe dingen aan het ontdekken. Geleerd dat ik Sufjan nog altijd maar Suf vind, dat Fink de moeite waard is van te beluisteren, Alcest echt gegroeid is als groep en dat die rare groep Makthaverskan mij echt wel kan bekoren en flink op weg is om mijn playlist "met de auto naar Spanje" volledig te vullen .

Het moeilijkste decennium. Heb nu al ernstig ruimte tekort voor tientallen 4,5* platen.

Verder leuk om te zien dat Eefje de Visser weer redelijk wat steun krijgt. Het is enigszins jammer dat zij onder veel Boudewijn de Groot-adepten (een aanzienlijke groep op MuMe) tot noch toe nog niet de juiste snaar lijkt te raken. Anders zou er wellicht helemaal een grote stunt in kunnen zitten. (lees: top 5 / 10 ). Wellicht dat de muziek van deze bovengenoemde Nederlandse woordkunstenaren (vooralsnog) teveel van elkaar verschilt om twee groepen liefhebbers daadwerkelijk te verenigen.

Ik hoop tevens ook dat Het Zesde Metaal (beste Vlaamse band), Typhoon (beste Nederlandse hiphop) en Spinvis (genie in alles) een beetje potten kunnen breken deze editie! Sowieso zijn de 10s voor mij het decennium waarin de Nederlandstalige muziek op haar (voorlopig) hoogtepunt is.

The Suburbs slechts 90e?

Maar nog altijd wel 4,5*. In mijn onderste regionen zijn de verschillen ook vaak miniem.

De 10's zijn toch wel hele goede jaren voor de hiphop, wat voor een groot deel te danken is aan Kanye West en Kendrick Lamar op hun artistieke hoogtepunt. Nummer 1 en 3 zijn nieuw en komen gelijk de top 3 binnen. Ploegsteert is in een jaar uitgegroeid tot een van mijn favoriete albums (top 10-positie), Kendrick Lamar's nieuwe worp is al een paar maanden op weg om precies hetzelfde te doen.

Eerste deelname voor mij. De laatste tijd heb ik wat research gedaan naar recente platen en er bleef helaas nog veel onbeluisterd, maar daar kan ik weer een jaartje aan werken.
