Als ik bij mijn lijst zeg (wat ik eerder deelnemers heb zien verklaren) dat de bovenste pak-m-beet zeven doelbewust in volgorde is geplaatst, en de rest enigszins arbitrair is, is dat reden voor uitsluiting?
Moeten de redenen van volgorde inzichtelijk gemaakt worden?
Ik kan me vaak niks voorstellen bij de volgorde van inzendingen, maar neem het voor lief. Is dat moeilijk om te doen bij spinout?

Ik sympatiseer zwaar met Etta en de spin

Uiteraard mag die blijven staan. Ik zou hem zelfs complimenteren met zijn goede smaak.

En een representatieve lijst bestaat uit de grillen van de deelnemers. Je hebt nu eenmaal lijstjespuristen en sloddervossen, en alles daartussenin.

Jongens, wij hebben regels en discipline nodig anders wordt het hier een zooitje.
Wel een uiterst vermakelijk zooitje.
Ik blijf het nog wel even volgen, samen met de tour en de actuele staatsgrepen .

Punt is dat spinout met zijn lijstje zo overduidelijk geen op smaak gebaseerde(!) volgorde heeft aangebracht in zijn lijstje. Hoewel het mogelijk is dat het zwaartepunt van iemands smaak in een vroeg decennium ligt (bij iemand als Gretz is het bv. tegenovergesteld), is de kans erg klein (in "de wereld van statistiek") dat iemands lijstje chronologisch-alfabetisch eindigt.

Ik heb zelfs nog gedacht om alle albums hetzelfde aantal punten te geven, maar aangezien de lijst uit 57 albums bestaat, is ook dit ondoenlijk, want ik kan niet beslissen welke 7 er af zouden moeten vallen.

Ofschoon de discussie vermakelijk om te lezen is (evenals de mij onduidelijke zijpaden), is de 'opdracht' duidelijk: kies max. 50 albums en zet deze op volgorde van jouw smaak. Dit is uiteraard arbitrair en de een zal er meer moeite insteken dan de ander, maar als iemand zich er op deze manier met een jantje-van-leiden vanaf maakt, neem ik dat lijstje simpelweg niet mee. Daar mag je van vinden wat je wilt, maar zoals Gretz al aanhaalt, was er eerder al een soortgelijk geval waarbij iemand een lijstje een-op-een gekopieerd heeft. Ook toen heb ik het lijstje niet meegenomen.

Om in de statistische analogie te blijven: genoeg redenen omtrent validiteit en betrouwbaarheid (reliability) om hier strikt in te zijn.

Ik snap je punt, spinout heeft zijn eigen graf gegraven. Het had interessant geweest als hij niemand had gewezen op zijn sorteersleutel.

Ofschoon ik er anders tegenaan kijk respecteer ik je positie en eindoordeel.

Ik begrijp jouw standpunt Chevy. Prima om dat zo te doen. Zoals eerder geschreven: mijn lijstje trek ik terug. Jim Morrison zal er geen moment wakker van liggen.

En nu ga ik lekker Elvis draaien. Het is een mooie dag.

Volgens mij kan spinout nog altijd die paar minuten nemen om zijn lijstje alsnog even te sorteren.

Overigens ben ik er zeker van dat het evengoed gezien zou worden, want het is overduidelijk op jaartal gesorteerd.

Los van dat ik het een tamelijk onnozel solidariteitsstandpunt vind, heb ik je lijstje al verwerkt en heb ik geen zin de moeite te nemen om dit ongedaan te maken. Daar zal Jim Morrison ook niet van wakker liggen.

De enige keren dat Jim wakker zal liggen is als ze weer eens "zijn bed opschudden"; zijn graf Op Pere Lachaise heeft nl zoveel te lijden van fandalisme dat zijn steen regelmatig moet worden vervangen. Het graf van nu ziet er heel anders uit dan het graf dat ik pak 'em beet 30 jaar geleden (voor het eerst) zag. Overigens zou dat tevens een aardig topic kunnen zijn: welke graven van musici heb je bezocht?

De dag die je wist dat zou komen is eindelijk hier...

Ik zie die opmerking over 'tamelijk onnozel' maar als een welgemeende speldenprik.

De helft van mijn album top 50 zit in de keuzelijst. In de hoge regionen van die lijst komt mijn voorkeur ook vaak overeen met de keuzelijst, maar dat wordt gaandeweg richting mijn eigen nr. 50 steeds minder. Ik vermoed dat ik hier niet bepaald de enige in ben!

Dat is idd best boeiend! Ik ben slechts enkel in Parijs bij de heer Morrison geweest. Ik trof daar vooral een paar Spaanse dames aan die al giechelend op het graf gingen staan om vervolgens hun meest droevige gezicht opzetten voor een paar kiekjes.
Dit was in 2000. Schaamteloos en eigenlijk walgelijk vond ik het. Respect voor diegenen die het tijdelijke voor het eeuwige hebben ingeruild was erg ver te zoeken.

Ik was daar overigens niet op bedevaartsoord, maar was nu eenmaal in de buurt.

Fandalisme. Mooie verrijking van de Nederlandse taal!

Chopin ligt op dezelfde begraafplaats, evenals Piaff. Dus wellicht staat de teller al op meer dan 1?

Dat wist ik niet. Die graven heb ik niet bezocht, althans niet terwijl ik mij er bewust van was.

Je kon bij de ingang een gidsje kopen met plattegrond en de graven van beroemde overledenen.

Ook Rossini heeft er zijn rustplaats, net als Bizet (Carmen); Oscar Wilde idem en voor de ingewijdenen is het graf van de familie Raspail ook een bezoekje waard - zie ook de 'shortlist' van dit topic:.

Misschien hebben we ook wel zo'n plattegrondje gekocht, ik weet het niet meer. We zijn overigens wel langs andere graven gelopen, maar ik kan me niet meer herinneren of ik andere bekende overledenen heb bezocht. Ik ben overigens niet van plan om er nog een keer heen te gaan. Bij het graf van Jim Morrison was ik dusdanig teleurgesteld over dat 'fandalisme' dat ik daar niet naar terug hoef.
