En ook Bombay Bicycle Club blijft heel erg nice

Verrassend ook dat Atlas de ladder niet heeft gewonnen. Dit leek me tot gisteren nog een serieuze uitdager voor Visions, maar daar geloof ik nu niet meer in.

Dat zegt niet alles. In de finale scoren de wat breder gedragen nummers vaak beter, en ik zou Atlas wel eerder zo betitelen dan Visions. Neemt niet weg dat ik Visions nog steeds, samen met Science Fair, als topfavoriet zie, maar Atlas zie ik wel als een goede outsider.

Ik zat eigenlijk een beetje de andere kant op te denken: volgens mij kunnen Ela, Jayda en Bicep alledrie grote uitdagers worden. Minder niche, meer allemansvrindjes. Zelfde geldt voor RTJ in deze ladder en eventueel een Phoebe of Eefje, al zie ik die nog wel voortijdig stranden. Mind you, vorig jaar was de finale ook moet echt representatief van hoe er over de voorrondes gestemd is, er komt een heel ander publiek bij. Edit: zoals Heiko hierboven ook zegt.

Als Charli uiteindelijk wint zou ik dát juist een behoorlijke stunt vinden. Science Fair idem.
