Ben ik de enige die het lastig vind om een album van 40:23 te vergelijken met nummers van gemiddelde duur?

Het is in principe gewoon een nummer als alle anderen, maar natuurlijk wel een hele lange. Wellicht helpt het als je het probeert te zien als nummer i.p.v. als album.

Dat is wel lastig, want een nummer van 40 minuten laat zich nauwelijks vergelijken met eentje van 3 of 4 minuten. Coltrane had het toch ook best in meer delen kunnen opknippen?

Ik mis bij Ascension een beetje een kop en een staart. Wat vind jij, luigifort?
