Veruit de minst overgeblevene van Marillion, velen denken er blijkbaar anders over, maar hier kan ik helemaal niks mee, Soup en Gazpacho maken in totaal, maar zeker ook met deze nummers ook totaal geen indruk, het gaat dus tussen Pink Floyd en IQ in deze ladder, waarbij PF toch de bovenhand heeft en dan vind ik The Seventh House de minst goede van IQ.

Hoe zit het met de goede ouderwetse eclectische prog, canterbury, fusion, crossover prog, etc.?

Tot nu toe alleen drie van de big four (Genesis, Pink Floyd, Rush) zie voorbij komen, en een King Crimson en een Camel. Verder eigenlijk alleen maar neoprog en moderne prog >2000.
Deze dino lust wel een Caravan of een Gentle Giant, misschien wel een RPI-band? PFM, Le Orme?
Maar goed, ik ben beniewd naar de lijst van vandaag.

Wie is dan voor jou die number 4 vraag ik mij af.... Yes misschien?

ELP toch? Niet mijn big four hoor, ik hoorde die lui op progarchives er altijd over.

Ik ken die lui op progarchives niet maar Yes lijkt mij groter dan Emmerson Lake and Palmer.

Met Soup proberen we het vandaag gewoon nog een keertje. En ook Riverside verdient met deze epic uit hun beginperiode een plekje in de volgende ronde wat mij betreft. Marillion komt er - dankzij van het voor mij persoonlijk nog relatief onbekende, maar erg mooie Driving the Last Spike - maar bekaaid af met een mooi nummer van het legendarische Brave, laat staan Rush... Mooie afsluiter !

(en waar we het gister redelijk eens waren Casartelli, kiezen we nu weer als vanouds een behoorlijk andere verdeling )
